I walked over the Pulaski to Queens when I was researching A summer in Brooklyn a Summer in Paris. In the book, I talk about how much this experience (of walking over the Pulaski and viewing Newtowns Creek) reminded me of one of the bridges that cross over the Seine in Paris.
